"Cheap Diffuser trick tip"
above pic: my friend Pete is shot at 1/4 power with my built in flash on my camera. The first picture is with the white film canister and the picture on the right is without the white film canister at 1/4 power built in flash on camera. This picture was taken about 4ft away at 18mm range.
A fellow DPG member ( Duluth Photographers Guild ) http://www.flickr.com/groups/duluthphotographersguild/ told me about a white film canister for a diffuser and cut out an area to fit over the built in flash on your camera. **Just remember to keep the cap for the canister and keep it on the canister or extra light will make your flash shoot light were you don't want.
Enjoy !

"The Bees Knees"
First of all Bees are crazy to take pictures of. It's like if you leave them
alone then they'll leave you alone. Well I don't really believe that at
the moment. Around the last week of August I went out just for fun
and ran into some bees. Don't worry I didn't get stung.
I'm just happy I had my macro lenses with to get as close as I did.
I felt like the bees knees after taking this picture.

"National Ocean Survey"
As my father informed me about this piece that was
put in the ground in 1984. He told me that there are
tons of these around the United States of America.
Makes me think about where I've been and where I
want to go next. I think I have that figured out as of
right now. If life is a journey at least take a picture of it.
